1 לְאַחַר שִׁשָּׁה יָמִים לָקַח יֵשׁוּעַ אֶת כֵּיפָא וְאֶת יַעֲקֺב וְאֶת יוֹחָנָן אָחִיו. הוּא הֶעֱלָה אוֹתָם לְהַר גָּבוֹהַּ לְבַדָּם
2 וְהִשְׁתַּנָּה לְעֵינֵיהֶם; פָּנָיו זָהֲרוּ כַּשֶּׁמֶשׁ וּבְגָדָיו הִלְבִּינוּ כָּאוֹר.
3 לְפֶתַע נִרְאוּ אֲלֵיהֶם מֺשֶׁה וְאֵלִיָּהוּ כְּשֶׁהֵם מְדַבְּרִים אִתּוֹ.
4 הֵגִיב כֵּיפָא וְאָמַר אֶל יֵשׁוּעַ: "אֲדוֹנִי, טוֹב שֶׁאֲנַחְנוּ כָּאן. אִם תִּרְצֶה אֶעֱשֶׂה פֺּה שָׁלוֹשׁ סֻכּוֹת, לְךָ אַחַת, לְמֺשֶׁה אַחַת וּלְאֵלִיָּהוּ אַחַת."
5 עוֹדוֹ מְדַבֵּר וְעָנָן בָּהִיר סָכַךְ עֲלֵיהֶם וְהִנֵּה קוֹל אוֹמֵר מִתּוֹךְ הֶעָנָן: "זֶה בְּנִי אֲהוּבִי אֲשֶׁר חָפַצְתִּי בּוֹ; אֵלָיו תִּשְׁמָעוּן."
6 כְּשָׁמְעָם זֺאת נָפְלוּ הַתַּלְמִידִים עַל פְּנֵיהֶם וּפָחֲדוּ עַד מְאֺד.
7 יֵשׁוּעַ נִגַּשׁ, נָגַע בָּהֶם וְאָמַר: "קוּמוּ וְאַל תִּפְחֲדוּ!"
8 הֵם נָשְׂאוּ עֵינֵיהֶם וְלֹא רָאוּ אִישׁ זוּלָתִי יֵשׁוּעַ לְבַדּוֹ.

What Makes Israel So Hated and Persecuted by Other Nations?
Was it just because he was a descendant of Shem, one of Noah's sons? But I believe that it is not just because I am a Semitic, because other nations are also Semitic, and yet they are not hated or persecuted.
In fact it is because Israel has a sign that bothers all other nations.
So, what sign could this be that bothers other nations so much?
The great difference between Israel and other nations is due to the fact that its origin was supernatural, that is, by a miracle from our heavenly Father; while other nations arose naturally.
Interestingly, our heavenly Father promised Abraham a son (Isaac), but He waited many years to fulfill this promise.
And the intention was only to fulfill the promise when neither Abraham nor Sarah had the natural conditions to produce children, so that it would be very clear that the birth of the nation of Israel would be supernatural, that is, not by human will or desire but by will and purpose of the Creator.
What we can understand is that Israel exists for a specific purpose of Adonai Tzevaot, Lord of Hosts.
And this is the Creator's purpose in creating the nation of Israel:
1) To be a holy nation (set apart) to serve the Creator.
2) Shine the glory of the Creator to other nations. And this glory, among other things, also reflects the character and ethical and moral values of the Creator, such as: love, justice, truth, kindness, mercy, forgiveness, longsuffering, etc...
3) The kingdom of heaven, which will be implemented on earth, through Mashiach (Messiah), who also comes from Israel. And who would reign on the throne of King David from Israel and over all nations.
So, it is truly the brightness of the Creator in Israel that bothers all other nations, because they are in spiritual darkness and for this reason they cannot bear the brightness of the Creator's light.
We know that since human beings fell into sin, through our parents Adam and Eve, that the human race and all creation have been dominated by the forces of the empire of darkness, namely, the kingdom of Satan and his fallen angels.
And all people who do not love or obey the Creator are under the servitude of this dark kingdom. This explains why other nations hate and persecute Israel.
For this brightness of the Creator's light in Israel is nothing more than His image and likeness lost by Adam and Eve in Gan Eden, Garden of Eden (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:8-14).
And in addition to losing the image and likeness of the Creator, human beings also acquired the image and likeness of Satan and his fallen angels as they became increasingly distant from the heavenly Father.
So, the Creator's purpose is to restore his image and likeness in humanity.
(John 3:16-21)
And that is exactly what Satan and his fallen angels do not want to happen.
Since then, a great and long war has raged between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness, starting from the metaphysical world (celestial regions), that is, in the celestial dimensions and reflecting in the dimensions of the physical world.
But the great and good news is that our heavenly Father's kingdom of light will eventually win this battle. Halelu-Yah!
